I’m very honoured to have contributed to a very special photography tutorial book by German nature photographer Jana Mänz – ‘Naturfotografie natürlich anders’. The first edition of this book (‘Naturfotografie ganz anders’) was released in 2014 and Jana’s unique approach to nature photography gave me many ideas and much inspiration. This year it has been re-released with a slightly different title, updated content and many new guest articles, one of which is a double spread on handmade bookmaking. It is meant to be a short introduction to making photo books as a beginner with basic equipment and I hope it will create the initial spark for a few people to give it a try 🙂
The digital version has been released already, and the print edition will come in August. It is German only, but with today’s online translation tools that may not be a problem with the e-book.
